Terms and Conditions
Using Memo
These terms govern your use of Memo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and Agent Connection credentials.
The service
Memo records and transcribes voice memos, creates a short title and summary, and lets agents you authorize read and search your memo text. A connection grants access across your memo library. Revoking it stops future access, but does not recall content an external agent has already received. Transcription, generated metadata, and external-agent output can be incomplete or wrong. Memo is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. Review important content and agent actions yourself.
Your content and recording consent
You keep ownership of your recordings and memo content. You give Memo a limited permission to host, copy, process, transcribe, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You must have the right to record, upload, and share the content, including any consent required from other speakers. Do not use Memo to capture phone calls, other apps’ protected audio, or material unlawfully.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, access another person’s account, probe or bypass security or usage controls, distribute malware, infringe rights, break the law, or use Memo or connected agents to cause harm. We may limit or suspend access needed to protect users, providers, or the service.
Plans, subscriptions, and fair use
The Free plan includes the allowance shown in Settings. Memo Pro is a monthly auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Apple charges your account and manages cancellation, refunds, taxes, and renewal under its purchase terms. Unless you cancel in your App Store subscription settings at least 24 hours before renewal, it renews automatically. “Unlimited” transcription is subject to reasonable fair-use safeguards designed to protect service availability and prevent automated or abusive consumption.
Availability and beta changes
Memo may change, experience interruptions, or temporarily delay processing while recordings remain safely queued. We may add, remove, or modify features and limits. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability, but we will not use a service change to take ownership of your content.
Account termination and deletion
You may stop using Memo or sign out at any time. In-app account deletion is being completed before public release; during private testing, contact waynedev9598@gmail.com to request account deletion. Deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; manage subscriptions through Apple. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, create security risk, or expose us or others to legal harm. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. We are not responsible for decisions made from a transcript, summary, or external agent’s output, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. If a material change requires your consent, we will ask before it applies. If one provision is unenforceable, the others remain effective. Questions can be sent to waynedev9598@gmail.com.
